“In 2026, the Office for Youth will again organize numerous events aimed at strengthening the knowledge, skills, and abilities of individuals working in the youth sector and experts from other public institutions who work with young people. In doing so, the Office is implementing the European Agenda for Youth Work, while also striving to integrate formal and non-formal education.”
In 2026, we can expect the following from the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Youth:
- a professional seminar on dealing with crisis situations when working with young people, which will be held three times
- events related to the publication of the monograph Compassionate Language Among Young People on Nonviolent Communication
- six-day professional training for beginners upon the publication of the ABC of Youth Work handbook
- workshops on adolescents and emotional attachment for understanding UI tools
- an event on saving, debt, and financial literacy
- three events for mentors of student communities, whose program will focus on digital citizenship, media and information literacy, and the role of artificial intelligence in democracy and education
- a national meeting of the youth sector on two dates (in spring and autumn)
“With these events, the Office for Youth contributes to the development of the youth sector, improving the quality of youth work, increasing the visibility and recognition of youth work, and strengthening inter-ministerial cooperation.”
