From Clicks to Action: Youth for a More Just World

The main aim of the project is to empower and activate young people (especially women) to think critically about global inter-dependencies and to actively work towards greater social and environmental justice through international volunteering, educational workshops, and promotion.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

  • Communicate the importance of international volunteering in addressing global challenges through social networks and other channels
  • Promote online course on ethical communication, E-tick
  • Implementation of E-TICK clubs within Slovenia
  • Use video storytelling as a tool and method for communicating the topics addressed within E-Tick clubs
  • Organization and implementation of practical local workshops on topics such as (un)ethical consumption, fast fashion, circular practices, recycling, gender equality, global health, etc.

TARGET GROUP(S )OF THE PROJECT:

  • Youth between 15 and 30 years of age (mainly girls and women). High school students, college students, international volunteers, young NGO staff members, and other young people who want to critically understand global challenges and develop the skills needed for active citizenship.
  • Youth workers
  • General (local and online) public

PROJECT PERIOD: 2026-2027

EXPECTED PROJECT RESULT(S):

  • Increased critical understanding of global challenges among young people
  • Concrete behavioral changes through 6 E-tick clubs and 8 workshops
  • Inclusion of less vulnerable young people, reaching young people with low baseline knowledge or low engagement, who will progress in their understanding and motivation.
  • 10 short videos created and published
