SCI Austria invites you to join a Erasmus+ Seminar “Vienna Urban Ecology Safari”
The training will take place from 07 to 14 July 2026 in Vienna.
What if the city became a classroom?
In an urbanised and further urbanising world, the city will further become the only environment many people on our planet know well. Luckily, a lot of ecology can be understood and experienced within the urban space.
Vienna Urban Ecology Safari is a 6-day immersive course in Vienna that explores the city as a living ecosystem.
Through walking, observation, collective mapping, dialogue, imagination, and non-formal education methods, participants will investigate the relationships between ecology, society, and space, engaging with themes such as biodiversity, climate adaptation, public space, environmental justice, and the coexistence of human and more-than-human life.
