Part of our team is currently attending the IVCO Conference “Strengthen Civil Society in Challenging Times,” which is taking place between September 14 and 18 in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
This year’s main theme of the conference is

The conference offers an excellent opportunity to reflect with other organizations and institutions from the non-governmental and governmental sectors in the field of volunteering, to review the practices of the Voluntariat Institute “live”: which methods work, which obstacles keep cropping up, and how we can take concrete steps in our own environmentโwhether in educating volunteers, advocating for better conditions, or collaborating with local partners, organizations, and authorities.
For us, these are also excellent starting points for establishing new partnerships, ideas, and the development of volunteering in 2026, which the United Nations has declared the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development.
